Lotus Temple

I designed this model as one of the 4 commissioned undiagrammed designs featured in "Origami City". These were designs which folders who completed the rest of the book's 30 projects could then aspire to fold. The book's page limit and easier difficulty level for the target audience is responsible for much of that unfortunate fact.
The actual structure of the Lotus temple is based on a water lilie with with 9-sided symmetry. This lead me to go the easy route and use a nonagon as a starting point.
This is among the first designs I came up with early in the project.
