This model came about soon after the giraffe and it seemed logical to come up with another design using the tilted axis grid because of the natural sloped back that it creates.
I've folded many different versions of this one with varying proportions. The first "fix" involved making the head larger, then came lengthening the body, then heightening the back, and finally lengthening the hind legs. Along the way different ways to shape the head, belly, and hooves came about, sometimes, but not always, by necessity.
The crease pattern for the original 2014 base which uses an 18x18 tilted axis grid.
