Kudu

I had designed a kudu using circle packing and a similar layout to Robert Lang’s elk in 2006 (shown below). At the time I was quite satisfied with the design, but eventually the model's flaws became too hard to ignore. I decided to revisit this magnificent animal using a more traditional 22.5° structure and came up with this. The first new version in 2012 was elegant and had fairly long limbs, but it would meet yet another modification to create the even longer legs and spiral horns seen in the picture above.
